Jim is Pastor of St. Brendan Parish in Bothell, and has been active in Catholic Charismatic Renewal since his college days. He is a frequent presider at Healing Masses and a speaker at prayer groups. He has worked with Dr. Tom Curran on presenting a series of radio programs on Sacred Heart Radio. And he is a gifted musician and vocalist who has written several songs and has produced his own CDs.

“… the Renewal is not a Movement in the common sociological sense; it does not have founders, it is not homogeneous and it includes a great variety of realities; it is a current of grace, a renewing breath of the Spirit for all members of the Church, laity, religious, priests and bishops. It is a challenge for us all. One does not form part of the Renewal, rather, the Renewal becomes a part of us provided that we accept the grace it offers us.”

Cardinal Léon-Joseph Suenens, as quoted by Pope Francis in his address to the Charismatic Renewal, "Movimento Rinnovamento Spirito"
