The mission of WWCCR is only made possible through the dedication, prayer and perseverance of our volunteers who keep doing what they learned, heard and have seen. Each one has experienced the power of the Holy Spirit in their life. Yet, there is so much more to do!
Here is a list of current WWCCR volunteer opportunities:
Pentecost Celebration (Late Spring Event)
This January to May commitment includes monthly Zoom meetings for event planning, ongoing email communication, attending and assisting at the event. At the event we also need volunteers to help with setup/pack up, greeter, refreshments, worship team, prayer ministers, volunteer management, and/or tech assistance (with projector & sound), etc.
GLEANINGS Newsletter Planning Committee
Year-round commitment includes bi-monthly zoom meetings for theme and article planning, ongoing email communication, some writing and/or editing, familiarity with the ministry of WWCCR and national Catholic Charismatic Renewal trends.
Prayer Minister
Commitment as needed for events. Training and experience preferred; new prayer ministers would be mentored & trained. Some in person or Zoom meetings may be needed. Expect ongoing email communication and attending the event as needed.
Praise and Worship Ministry Team
Commitment as needed for events. Knowledge of music and praise & worship techniques needed. Some knowledge of liturgical music is helpful. Collaborate with the event coordinator. Expect ongoing email communication, attending a possible planning meeting, and attending the event. WWCCR has its own CCLI copyright license.
Intercessor
Commitment includes weekly emails with prayer intentions to pray for, intentions include the needs of WWCCR, our priests and those prayer requests that we receive at the WWCCR office.
Life With The Holy Spirit Retreat Team
This year-round commitment includes monthly in-person team meeting/training, ongoing email communication, ongoing prayer for team and retreatants, attending retreats, and taking an active role as a presenter, worship leader, prayer minister, registration table, or tech assistance (with projector & sound, etc.) Training/mentoring available.
WWCCR Anniversary event (Fall Event)
This August to November commitment includes monthly Zoom meetings for event planning, ongoing email communication, attending and assisting at the event with setup/pack up, registration, greeter, refreshments, volunteer management, and/or tech assistance (with projector & sound), etc.
Women's Retreat
This year-round commitment includes monthly Zoom meetings, ongoing email communication between team members about planning, ongoing prayer for team and retreatants, taking an active role in a part of the retreat (i.e. decorations, registration, small group coordination, prayer team coordination, prayer ministers, or folder, booklet & name tag prep, etc.)
WWCCR Office Volunteer
Commitment is project based including mailing list updating, mail assembly, event prep, phones, office cleaning, and other projects as needed. Training available as needed.
