Lighthouses were not built in safe places. They exist because… storms exist…

Sometimes in our lives, we find ourselves in difficult situations. We need God as our lighthouse to help steer us clear of dangerous spiritual terrain and lead us safely into the harbor.

The purpose of a lighthouse is to be where storms are. The stormy situations may be with our family members or friends, or circumstances in the world around us. Those storms create the need of strong light to guide the way. The light you carry within—your faith, hope and love—can be the light needed in these stormy situations. You have been given the light of the world Himself. So, go on, shine!

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” Matthew 5:16 RSV.
